Who are we?
At THE PRIDE SHOP®, we are dedicated to creating a space that celebrates and supports the LGBTQ+ community. We are part of an independent retailing and publishing company home to brands such as THEGAYUK, The Gay Shop, Big Gay Card Company and Tackle.
Our mission is to provide a diverse and inclusive collection of books, gifts and jewellery that reflect the rich tapestry of LGBTQ+ experiences, stories, and voices. We exist to make sure that your identity is represented and validated.
Our history
We can trace our roots back to 2011 when the founders of this company created one of the most popular Gay and LGBT+ magazines and listings websites. Since then we’ve been on a journey to curate a thoughtfully selected range of LGBTQ+ books, gifts and jewellery that represents as many LGBTQ+ identities as possible. In 2019 we started working with some of the UK’s biggest retailers to bring a bit more LGBTQ+ness to the high street. Have you seen us in TKMAXX or Rymans?

Our team is passionate about promoting understanding, acceptance, and empowerment. We believe in the transformative power of literature and gifts to educate, inspire, and foster connections among individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
